Stupid Dumb Breast Cancer

Me & Ann Marie

Me & Ann Marie

When I first read Ann Marie Otis’s blog, I found myself inspired. And then I met her. She has so much passion, strength and truth to share with the world, specifically in regard to cancer awareness. It only made sense to ask if I could be her media spokeswoman, promoting her brand and spreading awareness about breast cancer.

And then something incredible happened — I bettered myself. It’s not that I wasn’t already a decent human being or anything, but I actually began raising money for charity, sharing informative articles and infographics on social media, starting this blog. I decided to take action, instead of just sitting back and believing in something but never truly believing. You know what I mean?

Yeah, we pretty much love each other.

Yeah, we pretty much love each other.

I’ve always been bold, but Ann Marie has taught me to be heroically bold — to share my boldness with others and fight for what I believe in. So that’s what I’m doing here. I not only plan to place a large focus on cancer awareness, but other vital topics like war, politics and whatever else the media pours its sugary slime on.

In the words of Helen Keller, someone who had the odds stacked against her, but still had the courage to achieve and achieve greatly: “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.” Here’s to using all five senses to spread awareness, educate and inspire.
